Would you join an Avatar-themed roleplay?

Hey guys~
So, Ive been thinking about starting an 'Avatar' roleplay. My roleplay, Elements, was pretty successful, and Avatar sort of has the same idea;; being able to control the elements.
If you don't know what Avatar is, it was pretty much a cartoon/anime, and some people were able to control the elements (air, water, earth, and fire). One person is able to control all 4 elements, and that person is called the Avatar. As soon as the Avatar dies, a new one is born. The show basically just followed the Avatar, Aang, who was an airbender. Blahblahblah... He saves the world, blahblahblah.. Classic hero xD

Anyway, I thought it could make an interesting roleplay. Each character being able to control an element, they all team up to, I guess, defeat some sort of evil.
The only things i'm worried about is
*I'm going to go through a lot of trouble to make a RP, only to have nobody join,
&
*Everyone will want their character to be the Avatar. I was going to just have my character be it, but then I knew some people would get mad and try to have their character 'become' it.

So, yeah.. Basically, I just wanna know if anyone would actually join an Avatar roleplay? If you didn't watch the show, but it still sounds interesting, you'd probably catch right on, it's not a really hard concept.
