One month later.... 10.10.12 Amanda Todd commit suicide.

If she were alive I could help her. At least she can rest in peace in heaven. :'(

It turns out she hung herself.

Dude, I just watched the 'Teens React' episode to this yesterday. I almost cried I mean...she was so young. This is old news however, yet people are still leaving heartless comments like 'I'm glad she's gone', 'she deserved to die'...junk like that.
It wasn't her fault, I mean we all make mistakes. If we all killed ourselves for one little mistake like that, I'm 100% positive the earth would be empty.

Why could people be saying she deserved it? People are posting stuff like Halo B L E A C H and Hi I'm Amanda Todd I'm just hanging around.

It is surprising how heartless people can be... She had her whole life ahead of her, and a simple mistake is what it took to actually ruin her entire future and life... She clearly did not deserve any of that! She was a young woman who deserved so much better than anyone else, she went through so much in that time... Perhaps now she is truly free from all this and can actually be happy instead of shedding her tears... I hate those who just continue to insult her when she was just an innocent victim of cyber bullying...
People learn from their own mistakes and others around them, but how exactly can they be expected to learn when you continue to pester them about what they did? She never had a chance to even save herself, and that is what makes me more angry than anything else, the fact no one would tried to help her, gave her a second chance, or even bothered to give her space...

If she was still with us... I would try and help... But her death was clearly not in vain, there are others there going through problems with bullying... We need to help them before it is too late for them as well...

I feel the same way. What annoys me a lot is that people ask why she's such a big deal and all the other thousands of suicidal kids are just forgotten. Well, I'll tell you... Amanda Todd is a perfect example of what can happen through bullying/cyber-bullying, a good example to be careful what you do online, and most of all it shows just how cruel our kind is towards some people.

I don't care about her any more than I do the other suicidal kids. I truly care for all of them and I'm sure they all have horrible, heart-breaking stories like Amanda. However, she's big news, let's get our opinion out about her, and use her unfortunate story to help OTHERS like her. That's the whole point of everyone talking about her!!

Mhm, exactly, it shows clearly how we are cruel to even our own kind, which is horrible... I agree entirely with what you said, we really need to use her example to help many more, hopefully it had a big impact on several people to also take the initiative to actually help those being bullied.
I just honestly wish people would stop insulting Amanda now, she has had enough, I know she is no longer with us, but why continue to insult her even after all this? I do not understand it one bit... How people can actually be so cruel...
