Why even register??

Hey everyone,

So, lately we've been getting an awful lot of new members, which we always generally have. I'm so grateful for that and all, as it gives off the vibe that we have a lot of members. However... I don't know, it's just, sure we have a lot of members, but nobody posts besides basically who you see in the top posting users this month, over there.

Anyway, I don't want to discourage anyone from joining or whatever, but this has to be said. I mean, WHY even join if you don't plan on posting? Really, it gives us a false number of members. Sure, we currently have a hundred something members...which is a lot, for this site at least, but seriously. I don't even consider some people as members because they never even post. They never have, never do, and most likely never will.

I'll send out ONE email to the members who have never posted, or have less than ten posts. After that, don't be surprised if your account ain't here next time you try to log in.

i think the reason people join is because they don't see posts and members??? like, we have basically no members that post now, right? so nobody joins because of that. it's really confusing. they see we barely have any posts currently and go "oh i guess it's basically abandoned kbye". the only ideas i have to get more people is if we go on bi, go onto the new sites the members post, and advertise there??

But yeah, I get what you're saying... We have like four members posting though!... okay wow, that sounds sad.
If you want to try and advertise on other websites advertised on BI, I'd love you forever. xD But most of them have a stupid 'no link rule', because they know they're just a complete copy of BI and any other site would steal all their members.

But, we do have active members. Not a lot, but we have active members. And there are tons of posts, psssh.
